It’s times like these you don’t really wanna mess around. No more foreplay, no more soup, or salad, or whatever… Just the steak! And a fairly priced one at that.
Your steak comes with a choice of rub1 and gravy2. My order never changes: T-Bone Steak, Original Rub, Mushroom Gravy, a side of potato wedges, and upgrade the rice to garlic rice.
Don’t expect too much from the sides, except to stay away from the pasta 3. I love their garlic rice, but the portions have gone smaller and smaller as the years passed.
But the real star of the show is the steak. Beef was a bit tough, which has almost always been the case, but not too tough to the point it’s inedible4. It has that nice grilled taste to it and most importantly, you get some fat on the steak! Let’s not kid ourselves, the flavor is in the fat and that’s the best part!
They’ve expanded their menu but I’d say stick with the T-bone. My college buddies used to always order their barbecue ribs (pork or beef), which I think is well worth it as well. Other than that, stick to the steak items! Why go to a place named Everything at Steak if you’re not getting your fair share of meat, right?
The place isn’t as good as it used to be and I’m not even sure if I’d be back. But like any cheap quickie, you’d most likely leave satisfied when you’re finished, but it’s not exactly the best you’ve had.
