But I figured, it’s the best way to start with a ton of backlog and I ended up in Starbucks — the one place I never thought I’d hang out. I don’t drink coffee, it’s expensive as hell, and it’s grossly overpriced. A recent discovery, however, made my visit a whole lot more pleasant and a lot more productive.
A few months ago, I was able to try Starbucks’ Ultimate Grilled Cheese Sandwich. I had enjoyed grilled cheese sandwiches before and seemed like a no-brainer given the selection of overpriced pastries and even more overpriced drinks to use the free couches and free WiFi. The Ultimate Grilled Cheese features 6 (count them 6) cheeses – Feta, Gruyere, Emmenthal, Provolone, Mozzarella, and Cheddar. But I was actually quite surprised when I tasted sausages, which were definitely a bonus.
I loved this. Vegetarians might not like the fact that sausages are present in an otherwise non-meat sandwich (plus the no mention of meat), but they’re vegetarians — they don’t count. I think this is probably one of the few items that I’d pay for in Starbucks. And that’s saying something.
I love Starbucks’ tomato-mozzarella-basil on bagel. simple yet so flavorful!! too bad it’s not available anymore. Super love the Fruit & Nut toast too!!
It’s gone. WHY?! WHY DID THEY DO THAT?! NOW IT’S JUST THE GOD DAM BREAD AND THE GOD DAM CHEESE!!!
Seriously? Crap! There’s not a whole lot of reason for me to go to Starbucks!
